Dr. Smita Ashok
Dental Surgeon
Dr. Smita Ashok obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine in the prestigious University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), USA in 2007. She started her academic career educating the dental students at UPenn and gained vast clinical experience at a busy practice in the heart of Philadelphia. She offered in dental outreach programs to acquire insight into the dental needs of the underprivileged.
She brought her skill and education to Singapore in 2009 and has been in practice ever since. She loves restorative dentistry with a particular interest in root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and implants. She’s a friendly and outgoing nature and knows how to create a relaxed environment for our nervous and anxious patients. She is extremely comfortable treating kids as old as 2 and equally gentle and caring towards the older. She’s passionate about her job and places emphasis on educating patients on averting potential dental problems with the highest quality diagnostic approaches and solutions.
She’s completed implant and wisdom teeth training courses and keeps herself abreast of the newest and emerging dental technologies, including CEREC, CADCAM, and Implants. She is an active member of the Singapore Dental Association, Singapore Ethics, and College of General Dental Practitioners.
In her spare time, she is a dedicated student of Indian dance, loves to spend quality time with family, friends, outdoor and music.
